Welcome bij Hanne Ihlen.

My time with Hanne I experienced as very pleasant to great. Before I came to Hanne, I had already had several therapists with whom I did not feel (completely) safe and who weren’t able to (fully) help me. I told Hanne things that I hadn't ever told any other therapist before. Where other therapists showed me the door, Hanne gave me guidance and attention'.

'I practiced dramatherapy by Hanne, but she also used other media, such as creative arts, music and writing. She looked at which medium would suit me best and often left the choice by me. By working non- verbal with my hands and body, and not with my head, I was able to look at my problems from a greater distance. This is a method that still helps me a lot'.

'Hanne was a guide for me. One time she gave me a 'road map', the other time she pointed me to an 'extra side road'. 'Talking to the group after Hanne had left it became apparent that they valued her approach and found the exercises she introduced to be 'interesting', 'challenging' and 'enjoyable'. She managed to make the group feel secure and offered ample oppurtunity for the group to use drama and discussion as means of exploration. Overall I found Hanne to be an exceptionally thoughtful and professional student. She engaged fully in her task and set about achieving aims and objectives that she had highlighted. I do think Hanne will make a very good dramatherapist as she has a natural inclination to be compassionate as well as challenging and engaging'.
