Part- time I worked freelance as a drama teacher, and later as a dramatherapist with various client groups within the community.  In 2005 I gained my bachelor and master diploma in Drama therapy in London at the University of Herdfordshire.

In 2006, I moved back to the Netherlands. Here I worked various settings as a social worker and therapist. In 2009 I decided to start my own therapy practice. I never looked back.

Over the years I completed various courses to develop myself further as a professional. This included training in Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Developmental Transformations, Narrative Sandplay, Forum theatre, Schematherapy and Narrative therapy.
