About Hanne
In 1998 I graduated as a Social Worker in the Netherlands. After completing my study I emigrated to Great Britain where I stayed for approx 9 years. I worked here in various settings and with different client groups. This included working as social worker and residential- and day centre officer with children and adults with mental health problems, ADHD, autism, severe challenging behaviour, the elderly, physically and mentally disabled people, I worked for approx 3 years for the NCPCC as a social worker, and I worked as a children- and families social worker in various county’s in London and in Aberdeen, Schotland. Part- time I worked freelance as a drama teacher, and later as a dramatherapist with various client groups within the community. In 2005 I gained my bachelor and master diploma in Drama therapy in London at the University of Herdfordshire.
In 2006, I moved back to the Netherlands. Here I worked various settings as a social worker and therapist. In 2009 I decided to start my own therapy practice. I never looked back.
Over the years I completed various courses to develop myself further as a professional. This included training in Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Developmental Transformations, Narrative Sandplay, Forum theatre, Schematherapy and Narrative therapy.
I gained my Bachelor diploma as Supervisor and currently I am training to be a psychodramatherapist.
